The Museum of the American Revolution will open its doors to the public on April 19, 2017–the anniversary of “the shot heard ‘round the world.” Over one hundred years in the making, the Museum explores the dynamic story of the American Revolution using our expansive collection of Revolutionary-era weapons, personal items, documents, and works of art. Immersive galleries, theater experiences, and recreated historical moments bring to life the events, people, and ideals of our nation’s founding and engage people in the history and continuing relevance of the American Revolution.
General admission tickets go on sale at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Please refer to our Opening Celebration page for more information.
Everyone needs a timed ticket for entry to the Museum, even members and those 18 and under. Tickets are available in 20-minute intervals and are good for two-days. When planning your visit, pre-purchasing tickets online is the best option. Ticket availability at the Museum may be limited.
The Museum is happy to offer discounts to members of the military, AAA, and to student. All discounted tickets must be purchased in person at the Museum with a valid ID.
