American Revolution Center Secures Site for The Museum of the American Revolution in Historic Philadelphia
At a signing ceremony today, Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter, National Park Service Northeast Regional Director Dennis R. Reidenbach, American Revolution Center Chairman H.F. (Gerry) Lenfest and President/CEO Bruce Cole, will announce the completion of a historic land exchange between the National Park Service (NPS) and The American Revolution Center (ARC). Through this exchange, which officially closed on September 8, ARC secures a site in the historic area of Philadelphia to build The Museum of the American Revolution and the NPS adds 78 acres to Valley Forge National Historical Park.
