Learn about the first shots of the Revolutionary War, fired on April 19, 1775 at Lexington and Concord, Massachusetts, with special programs in the Museum’s Galleries. Ten-minute talks will highlight remarkable witness objects from these battles and the civilians, British soldiers, and minutemen who were there. In the Rotunda, create your own April 19th commemorative ribbon, based on silk ribbons given to Revolutionary War veterans in our collection.
