How will you incorporate the 2018 National History Day theme, Conflict and Compromise in History, into your classroom this year?
Join educators from the Philadelphia region in exploring documents, objects and museum exhibits, and learning from local historians as you answer this question through the lens of the American Revolution. Focusing on the journey from loyal colonists of the British Empire to rebellious revolutionaries willing to declare independence, you’ll ask: Did everyone tread this path? Were all considerations the same? How were opinions expressed and how was compromise sought even as conflict increased?
