Army-Navy Game Week at the Museum
Go Army! Beat Navy! Go Navy! Beat Army!
Did you know that both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy were created in 1775 during the Revolutionary War?
On Saturday, Dec. 9 the football teams of the Army and Navy will face off at Lincoln Financial Field, and the Museum of the American Revolution will celebrate this historic football rivalry all week long.
Bring your ticket stub from the game and get $2 off admission to the Museum from Dec. 4– 10. At a voting station in the Museum’s rotunda, use a colored pompom to vote for the team you want to be victorious. In the Museum’s exhibits, board a privateer ship to learn about the war at sea and face the British on the front line of battle in the Battlefield Theater. And don’t miss Washington’s War Tent, the tent that General George Washington used as his command center throughout most of the Revolutionary War.
